Run like Santa this Christmas!

Join a Santa run this December and support The Lily Foundation.

This Christmas, Santa isn’t just flying through the skies – he’s hitting the pavement for a great cause! We’re inviting all of our amazing supporters to join in the fun and take part in a Santa run to raise money for The Lily Foundation and support the fight against mitochondrial disease.

With Santa dashes happening all over the country, now’s your chance to get into the festive spirit by dressing head to mistle-toe in red and white and sweating it out for a great cause. What could be more fun than running for Lily whilst celebrating the festive season? After all, even Father Christmas needs some exercise before all those mince pies!

How to get involved

Whether you’re running for a mug of mulled wine, a Christmas pudding or simply the joy of spreading cheer, a Santa run is a fun way to support a cause that matters. Here’s how you can take part:

  • There are official Santa runs taking place all over the UK, so please check out what’s happening in your local area. We have guaranteed places at London’s Santa in the City on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th December, as well as at the more family-friendly version in Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 7th. But hurry, as registration closes on 26th November.
  • If you can’t find an official event near you, you can still get involved. Simply get yourself a red and white suit and head for your local parkrun, or even create your own event with family or friends. All we ask is that you donate just £24 to The Lily Foundation in lieu of a registration fee.

Why run for The Lily Foundation?

Whether you join the dash with friends, family or on your own, the most important thing is to have fun whilst raising funds. We can only continue to raise awareness, fund research and provide support to mitochondrial disease patients and their families because of you.
