Introducing The Lily Foundation’s first quarterly Zoom Room

This series of webinars is designed to educate and empower the mitochondrial disease community on a variety of topics.

“Why is it so hard to be happy?”
“Why is life so difficult?”
“Why do we suffer so much?”

These are the questions that ‘come up’ when living with a rare condition like mitochondrial disease (including as a family member of someone affected). Inevitably, we’re left wondering how we even begin to think about creating a life that is rich and meaningful when facing or having faced so much pain and uncertainty.

In this brief Zoom Room, Ben Marram, Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, hopes to offer education, support and some strategies that might help you face and answer some of these questions in order to ‘live well’ and ‘cope better’.

This Zoom Room is suitable for people affected by mitochondrial disease, their families, friends or colleagues, and for those who may have lost someone to the condition.
