Are you ready to experience the thrill of a lifetime? To mark what would have been Lily's 18th birthday this year, we’re looking for 18 incredible supporters to Take the Leap for Lily by joining our Lily Foundation skydiving weekend.
This charity challenge will take place at four locations across the UK:
- Durham
- Nottingham
- Old Sarum (Salisbury)
- Peterborough
The ultimate adrenaline rush
Picture this: you’re standing at the open doorway of a plane, 10,000 feet above the ground. The engines roar, the wind rushes past and below you, stunning landscapes stretch out for miles. Then comes the moment of truth – you lean forward, let go and free-fall into the sky below at over 120mph!
The sensation will be like nothing you’ve ever felt before – exhilarating, liberating and totally unforgettable. And when the parachute opens, you’ll glide through the sky, soaking in breathtaking views and a sense of euphoria like no other.
Freefall to fight mitochondrial disease
Sign up for The Lily Foundation’s skydiving weekend to experience the thrill of a tandem skydive whilst helping to fight mitochondrial disease. It’s an adrenaline extravaganza that you’ll never forget, and you’ll leave with new friends, memories to treasure and a sense of pride knowing you’ve done something truly remarkable.
If you’ve never skydived before, you’ll be in safe hands, as expert instructors will guide you every step of the way. And if you raise the minimum sponsorship, you’ll even receive your skydive for free!
Please note there is a minimum fundraising target for this activity of £600.
For tandem skydives the minimum age is 16 – however anyone aged 16 or 17 would need to have a parental consent form on the day of their jump.
Making the leap into fundraising
