The Butterfly Run, an accessible event organised by Cure EB, is taking place on Sunday 29th September at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Happening just one week after World Mitochondrial Disease Week ends, it’s a great opportunity to shine a spotlight on other rare diseases too.
Butterfly Run London is about people of all ages and abilities taking part and challenging themselves to run, walk or wheel a 1k, 5k or 10k race.
10k, 5k and 1k fun run. The 5k and 10k races start together after the 1k race has finished.
All entrants will receive a Butterfly Run race t-shirt, race number, time chip and finisher medal.
Enjoy the event with the whole family – there’s also balloon modelling, face painting and an egg and spoon race taking place to keep the kids entertained!
Please note:
- The 10k race is open to anyone age 13 and over.
- The 5k race and 1k fun run are open to all ages.
- Entry for the 1k fun run is per race number only, so if you’re only running alongside your child to support them, you do not need an additional entry.
- Children are the responsibility of their parent (or accompanying adult) at all times.
