Finding hope as we head into 2024

Every year we reach new heights, and every year we amaze ourselves with what we can achieve together. This year has been no different, as we continue to raise awareness of mitochondrial disease, support the patients and families affected by it, and push new boundaries in the search for treatments and a cure.

From the financial support of our Wish Fund to the emotional support of our Lily events; from investing in pioneering research to giving our patients a voice; and from the smallest local fundraiser to a televised national awards ceremony, there are so many highlights from 2023.

Our Founder and CEO, Liz, reflects on a year of excitement and emotion, and looks forward to continuing the fight against mito into 2024 and beyond.
