Lily Golf Day, 8th September 2023

8th September is a big day in the annual Lily calendar – it’s the Lily Golf Day, sponsored by Omnia! If you’ve been before, well, we’ll see you on the fairway at the beautiful Croham Hurst Golf Club. If you haven’t, this could be your chance to have your name engraved on the most coveted prize in golf – the Lily Cup.

As well as the ultimate prize, there’ll be a raffle and on-course contests such as ‘nearest the pin’ and ‘longest drive’ for the really competitive amongst you.

Alongside all the sporting action, we’ll keep you well fed and watered with bacon butties and coffee and tea at tee-off, and a delicious 3-course carvery meal in the clubhouse afterwards. And just think, by playing a round of golf and enjoying a good feed you’ll be helping to improve the lives of children and adults affected by mitochondrial disease.

Tickets are selling fast, but there’s still time to get a team of pals together, or how about introducing a bit of friendly rivalry by getting a few work colleagues involved?

So pull on your cap, lace up your golf shoes and grab your clubs... will you win the Lily Cup?

Sponsor a hole at the Lily Golf Day, 8th September 2023

Here’s a fantastic opportunity for you to score a hole in one for your business. For just £50 you can sponsor one of the 18 holes at the Croham Hurst Golf Club and get your company noticed. We’ll create a bespoke A4 sponsorship board for you, featuring your chosen logo or artwork, which will be displayed at your allocated hole. You never know where it might lead, so why not get involved and help us take a swing at mito at the same time.

Butterfly Run London, 24th September 2023

Happening right at the end of World Mitochondrial Disease Week, this accessible event is all about people of all ages and abilities taking part and challenging themselves to run, walk or wheel a 1k, 5k or 10k race. Taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, it’s a real family day out, with face painting, balloon modelling and plenty more entertainment for everyone as well as the races.

Lily Italian Night, 10th October 2023

You don’t have to go as far as Italy to enjoy authentic Italian food and la dolce vita – just come along to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Lily Italian Night at Bagatti’s restaurant in Croydon. An informal evening of fine food, wine, live music and dancing, with some fabulous raffle prizes and auction items up for grabs, tickets are just £40.50, and Bagatti’s will donate £15 from each ticket to The Lily Foundation to help us keep fighting mito.
