Help us spread the word ahead of this very important week
World Mitochondrial Disease Week (September 18th-24th) is rapidly approaching, a week dedicated to raising awareness of mito on a global scale. And we’re encouraging all our supporters to get involved this year and help get mito in the spotlight.
Spreading the word is a powerful way to help everyone affected by mito, so please join us and let’s make this year’s event the biggest yet!
Thank you for making a difference.

Take a Stand |
|
Setting up a Lily awareness stand is a great way to raise awareness about mito in your community. We’ll send you everything you need, including leaflets, wristbands, stickers, bunting, balloons, pin badges, a fundraising pack, poster, collection box and t-shirt. |

Share a Bear |
|
We’d love to get out all over the country spreading the word about mito, but there aren’t quite enough of us at Lily HQ for that! So we’ve enlisted the help of some adventurous little bears who are undertaking a very special journey, but they need a bit of assistance from you... |

Light Up for Mito |
|
On Saturday 23rd September, lots of buildings and monuments all around the world will be lighting up green to raise awareness about mitochondrial disease. Why not approach one of your local landmarks or buildings and ask them to get involved too? |

The Butterfly Run |
|
While the whole week is dedicated to raising awareness of mito, there’s a great opportunity on Sunday 24th September to shine a spotlight on other rare diseases too at The Butterfly Run, an accessible event organised by Cure EB and taking place at the Olympic Park in London. |
