Taking on new challenges together

Autumn is the season of loss and renewal, and this October marks 15 years since our charity was founded in memory of Lily, a little girl who died from mitochondrial disease. As Lily's mum Liz writes in her article below, we have achieved a great deal worth celebrating since 2007 – but we still have a long way to go to find a cure.
