The more we invest, the closer we get to a cure
September is a big month for The Lily Foundation!
Not only is it World Mitochondrial Disease Week (Sept 18-24), it's also when we start receiving applications for Lily Research grants. This year we will be investing a further £200,000 (minimum) into new mitochondrial research, bringing the total we have invested to around £3 million!
Every single penny of that has been raised or donated by our amazing supporters (that's you!), and brings us closer to being able to treat or cure mitochondrial diseases.
